Case IH is expanding its planter lineup with the new Early Riser 2110 and updated 2150 planter.
“From soybean and corn operations to producers who cultivate bedded crops like peanuts and cotton, our latest additions to the Early Riser roster are designed to help growers combat recurring planting season challenges in new ways,” says David Brennan, planter marketing manager for Case IH. “Taken together, the new 2110 Early Riser planter and improved 2150 Early Riser planter offer a host of options that allow operators to maximize uptime while still putting efficiency front and center.”
2110 EARLY RISER PLANTER
The Case IH 2110 Early Riser planter is a workhorse for small-field operations and bedded crops, featuring a rigid mounting design, and 1.9- or 3-bushel on-row hopper options. The planter is available in six and eight-row configurations, with 30-, 36-, 38-, and 40-inch spacing. The planter is designed to have minimized weight and reduced hydraulic demand for compatibility with smaller horsepower tractors.
Automated vacuum control on the planter is offered for efficiency and accuracy, with a variety of in-cab control functions of pneumatic or hydraulic down pressure, residue manager control, and closing system pressure.
The 3-bushel on-row hopper is designed for ease of access to fill with seeds, and has recessed areas to make removing the hopper easier.
The planter has a 7-inch by 7-inch main frame tube design for accurate seed placement. The toolbar design has been simplified, reducing connection points to reduce implement damage while out in the field. Two weight brackets house three weights add toolbar weight for high-downforce application. The planter also sports a 5-gallon air tank and a steel electronics enclosure.
2150 EARLY RISER PLANTER
Updates to the 2150 Early Riser planter prioritize increased liquid tank capacity, and split bulk fill tank scale options to cover more acres between fills. Liquid fertilizer capacity has gone from 400 to 540 gallons on all 12-, 16-, and 24-row 2150 models. This has been increased to reduce the need for a tractor-mounted tank.
New split bulk fill tank improvements feature a larger fill hole, and low tank height for rearward visibility. Operators are now able to monitor tanks using an in-cab display with the Cab Control app.
AVAILABILITY
The 2110 Early Riser rigid mounted planter and updated 2150 Early Riser Planter are available to order now for the spring 2024 planting season.
