xFarm Technologies, a tech company in the digitalisation of the agri-food sector, strengthens its presence in Poland.
The company sees Poland as one of the largest agricultural producers in the European Union and as a leading producer of fruit and vegetables, honey, milk and dairy products. Polish agriculture is also an important source of employment and a pillar of the country’s exports, and is contributing to the food at a particularly challenging time in history.
xFarm Technologies, which has its headquarters in Switzerland, is setting up a team of Polish professionals who will support agricultural companies, machinery manufacturers and food companies in their digital transformation journey. Furthermore, it has decided to participate in the Targów Sadownictwa i Warzywnictwa (TSW), an event in Central and Eastern Europe for fruit and vegetable producers.
Poland’s leading role.
“At xFarm Technologies, we are all aware of Poland’s leading role in the European agri-food industry and we are convinced that it will become even more strategic in the coming decades”, said Matteo Cunial, CRO and co-founder of the company. “Many of our colleagues and myself are also farmers, so we understand the complexity and importance of the work of those who cultivate the land and feed a nation; that is why our motto is ‘by farmers for farmers’”. The xFarm platform, available in Polish and 17 other languages, supports 40,000 farmers from the Tatra Mountains to the Baltic Sea.
xFarm Technologies strengthened in 2023 in Italy and Spain with the expansion of local teams, established partnerships with major international players, and focus on the potential benefits of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for farms. 2024 is set to be an even more decisive year, not only with the strengthening of xFarm Technologies’ presence in Poland, but also with expansion in South America and Asia.
